Baihetan-Jiangsu ±800 kV UHVDC Transmission Project

This project is the world's first UHVDC project that adopts the hybrid cascaded converter technology. After it was put into operation, it can reduce coal transportation by 13.75 million tons every year, and cut carbon dioxide emissions by 27 million tons and sulfur dioxide emissions by 68,000 tons.
