Recently, XJ Electric Corporation has been awarded the Contract of the Supply of Converter Valve and Valve Cooling Equipment (Aranha Station) for the Project of the Third ±800kV UHVDC Transmission Project in Brazil by China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd. (CET), representing an important breakthrough of the "going out" of XJ’s UHVDC equipment.
It’s the biggest franchise project in Brail which is to construct a new 1,468 km high-voltage transmission line and two converter stations with the transmission capacity of 5,000 MW. The project will transmit electricity generated by wind, solar and hydropower from Brazil’s remote northeast to the more populated center of the country. After completion, it will improve the safety and stability of Brail’s power grid and play a vital role in the consumption of the renewable energy in the northeast of the country, effectively promoting the green and low-carbon development of Brazil's economy and society.
XJ will give full play to its technical advantage to guarantee the project will be constructed and delivered on schedule and with high quality.
